Notes
Holding time is tested in a static status without canisters or samples inside. Moving tanks, opening tanks, or adding samples will fasten the evaporation of liquid nitrogen.
Actual holding time can vary depending on:
1) If there are canisters inside
2) Size, temperature and heat capacity of the sample
3) Temperature and humidity of the surrounding
4) Any movement (during changing samples or while transporting)
Cautions:
1. For the first use of liquid nitrogen dewar, full fill it with LN2 and let it stand for approximately 24 hours. LN2 evaporates very quickly for the first use. After approximately 24 hours, refill the dewar then put your samples into the dewar.
2. Boiling and splashing always occur when filling a warm container with cryogenic liquid or when inserting objects into the liquid.
3. These tanks are shipped empty. Customers will need to obtain their own Liquid Nitrogen.
